Tier 1 UK Bank: "Chatbot will be our 2nd most popular channel in 2025"
I like to highlight interesting Conversational AI jobs that I see posted here on the site. I think it's helpful to get an idea of what companies are doing in the space – and it's always insightful to see how the companies describe their Conversational AI/chatbot activities.
The job alert I just posted earlier was highly instructive.

Here's the phrase that really struck me from the opening paragraph:
A Tier 1 UK Bank is seeking an Head of AI Product/AI Product Lead to spearhead the development and commercialisation of their new chatbot, which is projected to become the second most utilised channel for customer interaction in 2025.
Fascinating.
Absolutely fascinating.
If Conversational AI is likely to be their #2 channel for customer interaction, what will be the primary channel? Mobile? Possibly. Perhaps telephony, still?
I think a number of top tier UK institutions would already have their Conversational AI at #2, if not #1, depending on definitions.
Either way, it's a really stimulating market development point when even job listings are highlighting how valuable Conversational AI capabilities are likely to be.
