PolyAI Ranked #12 on Sunday Times 100 Tech List for 2026
Super congratulations to London-based voice AI company PolyAI, which has landed at #12 on the Sunday Times 100 Tech list for 2026 — the newspaper's annual ranking of the UK's fastest-growing private technology companies by three-year revenue growth.
That's a seriously impressive trajectory. The company recorded annual sales growth of 186.85% over three years, with sales reaching £11.9 million.
For those not familiar, PolyAI builds enterprise-grade AI voice agents for customer service. It was founded back in 2017 by CEO Nikola Mrkšić alongside Tsung-Hsien Wen and Pei-Hao Su — all former researchers with roots in Apple's Siri voice technology via the VocalIQ acquisition. The company has since grown to serve more than 200 enterprise customers across 25 countries and 45 languages.
The Sunday Times ranking caps what has been a remarkable run of recognition for PolyAI. In December 2025, the company closed an $86 million Series D round at a $750 million valuation. It's also been named the #1 fastest-growing AI company in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, ranked on the FT 1000 as Europe's fastest-growing enterprise AI company, and picked up the Gold Stevie Award for Best Customer Service Solution.
PolyAI's platform, Agent Studio, enables enterprises to deploy AI voice agents across voice, chat and SMS channels, with integrations into systems including Salesforce, NICE and Genesys. Notable customers include utility company PG&E, restaurant chain Fogo de Chão and banking group UniCredit.
The Sunday Times 100 Tech list, now in its second year, is compiled by the newspaper's business team and requires companies to be independent, privately owned and headquartered in the UK. Lending fintech Abound topped this year's overall ranking.
