Parloa is hiring a Director of Product, Conversational AI
Have you come across Parloa? They've been making a lot of waves in the Conversational AI space recently, and I've been meaning to make sure I documented their progress here on Conversational AI News. Before I do that, though, I wanted to make sure I highlighted the role I saw advertised recently.
The company has raised about $90M over the past few years and now has 250+ employees. Check out the Techcrunch post with the details of their recent $66M raise back in April.
So, let's get to the role:
They're hiring a Director of Product for their Conversational AI offering. I think it's fair to say that the company has been focusing heavily on their voice-first GenAI platform in the past and is now, clearly, looking to Conversational AI in more detail with this hire.
Here's the introductory paragraph from the job specification:
As Director of Product for Conversational AI, you will oversee the product development for our AI-powered conversational products. In this leadership role you will work with several product development teams, leading a team of product managers, and drive various products to success in an exciting market and technology environment. You set the strategic direction, help teams define their execution and are part of the product leadership team. You will bring your deep experience in product management, user experience design, a thorough understanding of AI technology and experience working with Enterprise customers to build out Parloa’s leadership position in customer service automation.
I've screenshotted the rest of the role as it'll likely be disabled at some point.
The role is based in Berlin, Germany and has been live for about a month so far – and it's had 48 applications which, I think, is stimulating in itself.
If you're interested, you should be quick! Here's the listing on LinkedIn and directly on their website.
And if you're wondering what the Berlin office looks like, here's the video overview:
Good luck!
