bpo Collections uses Incio AI Assistant for self-service debt collections

I saw this news on the Incio AI LinkedIn feed earlier today and made a note to write about it.

Budgie is the Incio AI 'budget assistant'. Do you see what they did there with the name? Nice.

The Case Study image is a little difficult to read, so I'll repeat some of the text here. It's really, really compelling. I've also seen other examples of Conversational AI being used in this way – and it can have absolutely terrific results. Anecdotally I think consumers much, much, MUCH prefer talking to an AI about debt collections, than talking to a human.

Here's one quote from an end customer of bpo:

Half the battle is calling to get it sorted so being able to do it yourself is great. I can't believe you can speak in slang and it still understands, it's amazing! It's like speaking to a person.

And here's Steven, Head of Collections at bpo talking about Incio AI's offering:

It was really quick and efficient to get live and the results are great - completion rates are excellent and we have good volumes of customers entering into an arrangement. Customers are definitely finding it easier.

The graphic highlights 55% engagement rates, 85% completion rates (I would imagine this refers to completion of an 'arrangement'?) And £1.2M identified in benefits – again, I imagine this indicates how much debt has been able to be 'arranged'. Or something like that.

Very impressive metrics.

I would expect we'll be hearing more from Incio AI in due course!

Automated debt collections is just one really effective use case for Conversational AI. Nice work team Incio AI.
