I saw this post on LinkedIn today from Stan Girard, the Co-Founder and CEO of Quivr, the open-source RAG framework:

Stan writes:

We have seen a huge adoption of our Mobile version at Quivr (YC W24). Accounting for only 10% of our development time, it brings around 25% usage. Yes, mobile development can be tedious, but we've seen many people choose our solution over a competitor thanks to our mobile version that makes Quivr accessible everywhere.

I think this is a really important point that is worth repeating. It is very easy to focus on desktop as a key interface, but as Stan's metrics show above, almost a quarter of Quivr users are accessing it via mobile.

Stan finishes with this recommendation:

If you are building a chat-based app. You should consider it.
