How have you introduced Conversational AI?

In parallel, Doxi, SER’s intelligent content assistant, allows users to engage in natural language questioning and answering, as if documents themselves were “sentient.” You can ask complex queries like ‘Who is the policyholder?’, ‘Does this contract conflict with any others?’, or ‘Does this patient have cancer?' directly in natural language.
Tell us more about how Doxis works?
With the addition of deep learning for smart document recognition and large language models (LLMs) for intelligent interaction, SER has unlocked intelligent content automation. Combining the power of generative and conversational AI, ECM capabilities, and process automation—such as invoice or contract management processes —SER is introducing a new class of business content that offers contextual understanding, approaching a level of self-awareness.
By automating critical business processes and making document discovery more intuitive and responsive, Doxis empowers knowledge workers to manage vast information repositories more effectively. Clinicians will soon be able to use voice commands to instruct their Electronic Patient Record system to prioritize cases based on cancer risk. Lawyers drafting contracts can query case files to detect contradictions or conflicts with new agreements. Insurance claim agents will simply ask a file what it is about, which policy it relates to, and whether the claim is valid.
How is this advancing human-AI interaction?
SER refers to this breakthrough as the dawn of the sentient document, marking the most significant advancement in knowledge representation since the printing press. This innovation has the potential to completely transform how enterprises understand and leverage their business content, as well as the wealth of work patterns and corporate knowledge embedded within it. Language barriers disappear—users can ask a question in English about a Korean RFP and receive an immediate, accurate response in either language. This shift will redefine how organizations interact with and extract value from their content.
What's the real-world impact been like - and how are users reacting?
SER customers are already leveraging automated systems that read incoming emails, categorize and interpret embedded documents, and take intelligent actions accordingly. A prime example is SEW-EURODRIVE, a global leader in industrial automation, which now automates over 5,000 custom orders daily.
